I can say from experience that a zon with ok gear and exceptional skills will be better than a zon with godly gear and shitty skills. Ever wonder why bowzons get a reputation for being so easy? Because so many people suck at using them.



ive found smiters to be incredibly easy, for any zon, glass or vita. Some can give a challenge, but most arent that bad. The real problem for me on my zon is mb ele druids, the better portion of mb necs, and max block es sorc's

give me your smiter killing skills and ill give you my mb/druid/necro/sorc skills

Matt, I have found smiters to be beatable about 7/10 with sorrowfulhatred's zon, and that only because of teleport. If they get a lucky charge in while the bow's out, it could be light's out. I met a good tele-smiter last night, and it was close, but I still beat him 3-2

Maybe not having attack on switch is what does it for my zon, I don't know. I have yet to see any zon in a pub though (besides me playing sorrowful's) who can stand up to any decent smiter. Like I said, 7/10 for me, the rest of the amazons get their asses kicked from what I have seen.
Smiters are not my hardest duel by a mile (and good thing because they are a dime a dozen in pubs).

MB Necros and MB ele Druids are indeed the hardest for me, but I have yet to meet a sorc, or any Amazon (FC sometimes, but mehhh...) who gives me a hard time. MB ES Sorcs just take longer, but still eat shit in the end. The hardest duel for me so far was a mb ele druid with a bear out. He kicked my ass 6x in a row. The advantage for telezon though vs druid is you can pressure him when he goes off to re-cast his hounds, or his armor, with tele, when you see him go defensive to recoup his stuff, you just tele in and hand it to him while he is recasting. This has helped me a lot in certain situations. But the good druids won't need to recast anything mid-duel, because you will have already hit escape...

Please do tell what strategies you use for smiters without tele!

es sorc could be easy cuz of poison ^^

but smiters = jav when close, bow when far away. if they happen to be away from you for longer than 3-4 seconds, it means they are synching near you and you have to have the skill to predict their next spot and throw javs, even if no ones there throw the javs because he will run into them, u just cant see him.

Yeah, I have my arrows timed with desynch, depending on setup I know I can get two to three GA's off before it is time to tele again, even if you don't see the pala, no wait, ESPECIALLY if you don't see him.
