All I know is he's supported Mak before and I wasn't surprised to see him do it again.

Well palapk has had some issues with scammers in their guild so I could see why bren wouldn't like the thought of another scammer in his guild. I'm not even saying proph is a scammer since I don't know the kid at all.. just saying that he's friends with a known scammer and still supports him so it doesn't make him look good at all.

yeah i get the defensive part .. sure ..

and no i dont think anyone is saying scammer ..

but i felt that his associations and potential dealings needed to be brought to light to our guild leader ..

Have you tried talking to proph yourself? I know if someone from playboy was friends with a kid who just scammed me i'd talk to them about it and prob rage at them.

Hey guys. I just want to make it clear that I'm not at all upset about any of this. I completely understand everyone's feelings.

But I also have to make it clear that "being someone's friend" is hardly evidence enough to exile someone. In life, "real" proof of evidence is required to actually make a motion to punish someone, so all I ask is some hard evidence on Proph since he is PN. I can't just ban the guy and tell him, "Hey, you're banned for being a scammer's friend." Come on...

I know the PN has always been pretty large in membership and with that, comes more possibilities of problems and accusations. So it's only natural for the PN to be dissed about scammer-associations or whatnot. But trust me when I say, I'm 100% trusted and legit and that I really want my Guild to be the same. I really do support the melee community very much and I"ve even returned to melee to continue that support. I hope to become friends with all melee players, guilds and their leaders.

I'm 26 years old now and I'd like to believe I'm more mature and respected now more than ever.

Oh, and I apologise if Lord believes I've gotten defensive with him, but I told him what I just mentioned here now. Please understand where I'm coming from and know that I wish to become stronger friends with all of you and the rest of the melee community.

More than a fair request. It wouldn't be very fair if you just banned someone at the first sign of trouble without any actual proof or chance for them to defend themselves. And no one is saying that palapk is a scammer hideout or something since there were only a few instances of it happening and most guilds have had stuff happen especially such an old/large clan such as palapk.



Which is retarded. He isn't all that involved in the melee community as far as I can tell though so maybe that's why he isn't so quick to take our side?

He's not a scammer, he's just friends with one, and nothing can be done about that other than to ask him to keep better company. But I understand your point Bren. Just to make it clear I wasn't accusing proph of being a scammer, just that he associates with one.
