I HIGHLY recommend gloves with kb. This can be achieved through crafted gloves or cleglaws or by using gskulls instead of coa which would free up the gloves for something other like draculs.

clegs are good bm gloves, but the 20 ias and stats on crafted gloves i find are priceless. I've never needed slow on items to kill someone.
The slow does nothing vs most if not all caster opponents. But IMO it is extremely valuable when dealing with ww barbs, smiters, amazons and a variety of other characters who do suffer from the effects of slow.
In a private GM 1 vs 1 duel cleglaws probably isnt the best choice. But in a pub game where half the people are using hacks, bugged gear or in general are not respecting "GM" rules its great to have.
