Now I won't ever use hybrid r/ws or any other hacked item, but if you do, that lets you get the 90% bp on jav side and 7 fpa on bow while using a cham in your helm, whereas with a normal faith, you have to go cham in SS- no CBF in bow form
But in all actuality, thats perfectly fine. If you get hit by a melee attack in bow form you're going to die anyway, and if you get hit by a blizz without the resists on your SS, you're probably dead, so hey. It would only really make a difference vs orb sorcs- all else, the freeze lasts like 0.5 seconds anyway



You lose the lightning bonus on griffons, which hurts, hard. But if thats the tradeoff to hit 90% on your java speed and 7 fpa on your bow, I think its worth it. For 7 fpa on your bow alone, it is NOT worth it.
So don't get me wrong- griffs + ravenfrost is the way to go if you can't get a 40/400/etc java, and anything but the absolute best javelin is totally dwarfed by eth titans
You should never use 4/40 javelins that don't have physical damage on a damach zon. It is NOT the same as a PvM cs zon that needs no physical. Don't use them, ever
I guess if you had to appraise it, I'd say anything above 75% of the overall damage of Titans is where I'd draw the line.

So anything below a 300% ed on a non-eth +4 / 40% ias java would probably be worse than titans overall, and anything less than 175% ed or so on the same thing with eth/rep.
Don't get fooled into using a weapon that only deals half the damage on titans but has a faster BP. The +20 dexterity and +30% FRW on titan is worth *a lot*; it means less dex for max block, significantly faster juking and slightly extra damage to make up the gap. Now if you have a 450% ed, 40% ias +2 zon skills ethereal repairing matriarchal javelin with knockback, then yeah, obviously use that. But for those that are worse, its a tough call on a case-by-case basis.
