Oh okay, but es sorc is way better. Believe me, i have had vita sorc myself, and several es sorcs. And es sorc is better even in svs.

I don’t believe you because having also played Es and vita within SvS ladders back in D2:Lod, vita > ES. Hence majority of ladder winners are Vita, and only the best duelers (Vicenzo) was able to succeed with ES on the ladder.

becose ppl tend to play on a one stomp win
for that for sure vita is more fun and precast on es can be annoying also
but if played correctly any es sorc will shit on a vita sorc lol .
for sure someone bad would lose to a vita sorc player that got good locks skills but someone smart wont actually lol

Yah this is what I expained but he seems not understand. His mind set is 5k2 hp sorc is better for tanking, and hope that win in one stomp. But Sorc skill tree is not for tanking build, even she stomps first, any chars with lower life can still beat her except es sorc. But ofc, no Es sorc is stupid enough to stand to tank against vita sorc.

Exactly, i won fb sorcs with my es blizz sorc simply by tapping down their life with the 5% damage piercing es which ofc also pierce their res to -100. Even barb bo'ed ones with 15/70 scs on d2pk which probarly ended at 8-9k mana with barb bo xD people raged after 2 rounds of 20 minuts each, even my own team hosted me and came from Town to attack me in the end xD so yes, sorc can be defansive, and you dont have to stay 3 screens away to do so, simply some frw + cnbf and gamesence and you can defwhore right in their face ^^

I understand perfectly your points. “Be a defwhore and ES will win”. I’m soooo convinced that y’all haven’t actually dueled a character with good namelock, chainlock, or double stomps if you think you’ll just defwhore to wins against the best dueling SvS sorcs in the game.

PS. i also played vita blizz in SvS ladder and have also won vs fbers with stacked res. It’s a test of skill.

That’s because good duelers actually know how to stomp and stomp hard. Only bad duelers expect to win by playing defwhore and relying on mana regen to win a duel.

In terms of straight up builds in SvS, Vita > ES because you’re not just getting hit by one or two fbs at a time for the entire duel - and ES breaks notoriously fast to big elemental dmg hits. The argument that ES is better because they play defwhore to regen mana is generally for players who never dueled anyone good before and sit / spam fb from two screens away hoping to land a lucky hit lol

I can imagine the strategy section of this guide: “keep two screens away and spam, run when vita sorc gets on screen. If you never get stomped you never lose!!” Lmao
