Ubermensh, there was many of black hades 2200+ Defense sold for 100-300fgs so you talk shits abot expensve etc.. 2400+ was like 400fgs so really you are wrong in here.
It is enought 2200 def armor.. and about 2600/2700 def eth rep sacred armors it is just most expensive armors and not for all users ofcourse, but you talk about this shit really?
What about Hybrid runewords and other Zodbuged stuff which are with thos stats best items in game, not evryone can buy this 8000fg hybrid weapons etc in PUBLIC DUELS so evryone other is shit and dont win against user with xxxK fgs and zodbugs hybrids Bugs etc equipment?

You just said that user who will spend 100 000fg will win the duel so all other users are shits so dont duel? This you said really?
And think again about this, because this fact is clear to evryone from 6 age to 99 age im sure.. and it belongs to any Duel type or even any GAME online in world..

thats why those mirror duels are pointless to me anyway, equipment matters way too much

rather play other kind of duels where it doesn't really matter but that's just my opinion

the equip & the fg it costs isn't everything
this is exactly what we try to tell here since 2 sites.

what really dosent matter in other kind duels?

if someone have permed Buged Tal, Buged Belt, Zod buged shako/ Zaka, Hybrid Griefs, other hybrid armors like Hybrid Forti or anything,

he will win against you with normal ones items dont you think? So equipment matter in evry duel dosent matter if barb vs barb or Pala vs pala or Akara vs Akara..

Amount of FG matter in evry character duels.. more FG = better items = better chance to win.

this shits are pointless.. so much people say it but it is wrong.

Only fact in the BVB is that there are not so much variety in Players, this game is old and no many Barb vs Barb players left so now stayed only the old ones with mostly Good Rare items dueling each other.
If there is more people, there is more duels of players and there is more usage of items of different kind, but now 2014 Year, Old game, Old users, Many Items, Many Fgs...

so dont cry about the reality fact which matter in any diablo2 character Duels.

i dont cry, i'm pointing out obvious facts i dont even care for bvb and even though the equipment isn't EVERYTHING in bvb it's still way too important FOR MYSELF TO PLAY IT as i already said, i dont have anything against bvb lovers and shit i just dont like the fact people with better gear have more success than others in most cases while in other duels your movement, timing and prediction matters way more

not saying you cant win with cheaper eq in bvb but its still way more unbalanced than in other duels, my 500 fg nec used to beat alot of expensive chars and my shako es fber dominated alot of tournaments, now imagine a 500 fg bvb vs a 50k fg bvb.. gl^^

movement and timing is maybe more important in BVB as in other duels but ok..

and in public duels (where you can wear any item if it is permed for example) are much much more xK fg Gz items so think about it.. there equipment matter maybe way more man.

Imagine 50k Fg Sorc vs your sorc or imagine 50k fg necro vs your necro.. with that best items on Shops, you will not win im 100% sure.
Its completely same.
Ony fact which i previous said is, that there are left only few BvB players and they already have Nice Rare items, so they dueling mostly each other now.. so not as many players as public duels that is.

hmm when i think back of those times well..i was duelling those super expensive sorcs too and there was never a visible difference, teleport duels are just very different and you got way more ways of dealing more damage than your opponent as in bvb, that's just me i respect your opinion but i just cant have the same as from my own experience mirror duels are abit more about the equipment than other doolz

Just wrong. Whirlwind is complex unlike other skills, in bvb you can win with Standard gear vs extreme high end barb if you know what u r doing and if you are patient enough... Its not just trading wws

yeah you're right, i was maybe too rude towards bvb duels, calling them pointless was too much and i've had a bvb barb too for like 2 years so that was a shitty statement

i just dont like the fact that (for me) the equipment difference in terms of value has been visible in duels way more than in other matchups, atleast that was my experience

i'll disagree with you once more: the efectivity of the EQ, regarding the difference in terms of value, is not THAT visible like it is in zeal vs zeal e.g.
due to the complexity of whirlwind and considering the factor "luck" you can win ~50% of aow duels with "standard geared" barb (eni, botd, angelics etc) vs "high end geared" barb (fools weapon, fancy rare armor etc..) IF you know what you are doing and, again, if you are patient enough.
however, the remaining barbs should be pretty much high_end_geared anyway with all those (obviously) imported items and duped perf jewels, thus my point is invalid anyway. so, here is a potato:
