He played a lot of characters, zon is one of them.

Europe has jesper and jason_voorhees (kam, the guy who played the sin in the video you linked), both are very talented amazons and kam's the hardest tvz I've ever dueled (though I've only ever played his zon in tvz, so I can't comment on his other zon match ups).

I also agree, I dislike the amazon hybrid guide.

Europe had the best zons ever

Lam3r and jesper

you'd be surprised at how selfish people on jsp can be..... i think you should look at it from a different view point before making rash judgements.

myself among many others (zeicheik for example) clear our inbox multiple times a day answering the same quesions over and over again.

it go to a point where i have decided to throw my a bundle of knowledge into PUBLIC guides for people to have FREE access to.

if they really wish to know SPECIFICS (which usually require more detailed personal questions - such as please come in game and look over my char and tell me what to improve on), it takes away from my time. in order to have a life while still being able to contribute to the jsp community, i have offered that option, but at a price so that people cannot abuse me. you pay to learn. people pay thousands to go to college to prepare for their future so they dont have to learn on their own. well you can pay me and save yourself months/years of time trying to learn it yourself. nothing in the world thats worth having comes easy/free.

what? I have had a full inbox since I posted my guide and have never thought of charging for advice lol. I get donations sometimes for helping but never require it. If my time was so important i wouldn't be on jsp. Just my opinion :)

Europe Amazons get bugged belts, East and West Amazons do not
Do you have any idea how much that boosts the statistics of an Amazon?

Europe Amazons (due to bugged belt)
Get the IAS bumper to be able to use GMB easily while maintaining (even more DR%) than verdungo's offers = More damage
This also allows for much easier and cheaper access to 9 frame throw on mat javelins
They also get a permanent 10% slow target *while maintaining max DR none the less* (which just shits on other IAS builds, including trap speed) and is seen as perfectly GM in Europe
They get much more +resistance due to bugged belts and it's life total is equivalent to dungos, which in turn = less res SCs and more damage
It even gives them a free 5/5 dual leech which is really helpful against druids

I'm sure Jesper and the other Europe zons are fantastic duelists
But this is like comparing someone who is wearing hybrid runewords to others who are not using hybrid runewords

bugged belt does help, but a lot of your conclusions are a bit off.

10% slow doesn't rape trappers, most trappers are using a w/s setup with enough stacked ias to negate 10% slow, also rare javs on eu are waaay less common than on east so most amazons are using titans here ( which is hardly an advantage ).

And if you rate the 10% slow and extra gmb dmg so highly why aren't u using a nos setup on your zon?

Nosferatu's = only 35% DR setup
Which in turn = immediate loss vs any well built physical damage dealing character
Not to mention the massive loss in vitality from taking off verdungo's
It's just not worth it in the end

Of course you could wear .08 Gaze (all the time) or a Shaftstop
But this just kills the entire point of trying to gain that extra dmg boost from a GMB and that potential upperhand from the 10% slow
Seeing as how you'll be choosing between ditching either (A) 300%ed on fort with +30 all res or (B) a nice rare diadem with 80%ed, alot of life bonus, 30 run and also +all res

Even though the 10% slow does indeed help against charger/smiters, zons, some trappers, and anything ias based for that matter
Taking off the dungo just entirely kills your defenses vs the characters you are trying to get that potential upper hand against with that 10% slow

Basically:
* Nosferatu's exposes far too many build weaknesses to make it worthwhile
* Verdungo's covers these weaknesses and not just because of the belt (verdungo's) but because of the other gear it allows you to pair with it

The bugged belt, gets around these problems however

how is 35% DR immediate death? If you think the duel is possible with 50% DR it cant be immediate death with 35% ( the difference is you take 30% more damage ).

And u can just use a nos setup vs non DR characters if you want

Let me rephrase this..

You wouldn't beat the top 3 v/ts in your realm with 35% DR
You wouldn't beat the top 3 BvCs in your realm with 35% DR
You wouldn't beat the top 3 Druids in your realm with 35% DR
You wouldn't beat another zon of your skill level (who is wearing a 50% DR setup) while you were wearing a 35% DR setup

In D2, situations will often boil down to trading blows and taking hits (not to mention life reping)
The difference between 50% DR, 15 life rep and 120 life value
As compared to 35% DR, no life rep and 30 life value
Is more than just significant, it makes the difference

Nosferatu's is not a bad option against non-physical characters
But you'll still be losing 120 life value and 15 life rep
and the 10% slow doesn't matter vs casters

Bugged Belt > Dungo's > Nosferatu's = Always

Thats one of the reason why europe got more hdins/zons and thats why we have better hdin and ama players, imo.

Ber your Stormshield, 43% DR on switch.
Life Rep (especially when you're only going to have 15) is horrible for any amazon.
The majority of duels against an amazon are going to be finished rather quickly, there's virtually no point in sitting back and potentially getting sniped. (unless you're just being stupid sitting in a corner repping)
