Hey again, mephistophilis.
I have now tried out both builds. Your faith build and the beast build.
Personally, I noticed quite alot of damage. Because of the Act2 merc in beast setup.
But I prefered your faith setup much much more. Because the merc use inner sight, so your servants can spot enemies much faster and from longer distances. Which is really really awesome. You get one less frame for IAS on skeletons, can't say more than it's just great. You can do chaos runs very easy, because your Act1 merc does not die.
I also tried out Ubers and Diablo Clone. It is no match for this summoner. I managed to kill Baal, Diablo without Urdars. But Mephisto was too much pain, atleast I didn't get a chance to know how to do.
Diablo Clone is easy though.
So to summon this up, Beast setup and you'll get higher damage. But less fps on minions. Lower vision, and hard to get 125fcr, which really is needed for a successful allround-teleporting summoner.
Also, it was very damn easy to keep the Iron Golem alive. I only maxed Golem Mastery. Best is to get +summon skill, as many as you possibly can, and find a +skill shrine, then create your Iron Golem in a low Infinity.
I have tested soloing in 8player games, by doing mostly Diablo, Baal.
I used Hoto, Spirit and one fcr ring. Then I managed to get high fhr, 125fcr, all resists max.
Thanks for this great guide, lovely setup.
THanks bud.
I am glad to see you tried both for yourself. I always encourage that.
I did the same thing which is How i built this guide in the first place. I wouldn't have if beast was clearly better.
Gotta use udars for Mephy. Just teleport right on top of him then run away. Udars take him down in seconds.
Your merc should walk away quick but if she doesnt and she starts taking damage just feed her potions.
Also, you could get decreptify and terror. cast terror on any skeletons that mephy raises then cast decrept on mephy himself as terror will not effect him. Decrept has a small range so his minions wont get cursed with it and they will continue to run away in fear.
