First of all, which setup are you referring to? And secondly, widowmaker is not meant to do so much damage anyway, just to put pressure on others and gain a tactical advantage.

Always is, and always will be a good guide. Kudos, I always thought I was crazy when I took my circlets over Arreats compared to everyone else years ago : )

Basically the same-ish set-ups as you, except I have a few different things on mine. (Namely I don't use arreats vs. smiters. I either use a +mass str 10% ow belt, or hsaru boots / belt combo with 2x ravens and highlords)

Well, circlet with the mods that you want on the circlet, other than the +AR%/level can be bought, yes. But even so, the circlet still has 7 mods, which means it wouldn't spawn under normal circumstances, ever.

Also, I did make a BvC on D2PK just yesterday. One that was built with the same stats as MCM's, but with 20 points to Leap. Of course, the charms were a bit different, since I went with 4x 5/5s, 4x 20/5s, 3x 15/70s and rest 32020s. The reason for this was to have 174% All resistances in Hell without Anyas, along with some mana from the 15/70s. Well, I ended up with a pretty darn high AR and life.

However, I deleted the BvC because I had a horrible ping.

The guided arrows are not for damage, but to trigger Open Wounds and/or Life Tap.

And the Fortitude that is often suggested to be used with Widowmaker is to boost the damage of the Grief+Beast switch. Of course, it's also useful for the +5% Maximum Lightning Resistance gained from the Lo rune.
