another thing. Maras > 3ss/100.

10%life in oak
6%life in bo
10vita (5 less dex req)

not to mention 30 resists (and they are definately needed)

edit: my fireclaw was pushin < 9.8k life / 13k dmg / 9k ar / 65 block SS / 50 dr / max res no stack >

and what u said about ghosts (and quite a few others). you havent dueled a decent one. they totally have the advantage.

and here's a bit of info to add to your "6.1 Basics"

Fireclaw cannot be blocked, except by Assassin's "Weapon Block". Even though it has attack rating the fire damage hits each time - the attack rating is for physical damage.

This is the same with all elemental attacks I think (Charged strike, rabies, etc..) tongue.gif

Maras is labeled under the other choices to use I guess it's kind of to each his own smile.gif

High lifers make all the difference happy.gif 9.8k life is very impressive

Ghosts i've never had a problem with :/ have to ever tried wolf form vs them? it helps a whole lot with the fhr increase

~no problem I can take constructive criticism happy.gif

I believe this is different for Fireclaws and Rabies. At least for rabies my conclusions are that the AR is for both the physical and "rabies" component. If the Chance to hit is passed the physical and rabies aura will hit, the physical damage then will go through the block check while the Rabies will not.

I'm not sure how it is with Fire claws but I'm pretty sure the Fire damage is dependent on AR as well, otherwise there would be no reason for using AR boosting gear.

Fireclaws is dependent on AR. What gives it away is when the skill itself has a %AR modifier unlike some of the zon skills like CS.

rabbies and fireclaw are both AR dependant for both the elemental and physical componant.

Are you 100% sure about this though? because this being said my druid should only have a 1/4 chance to hit es/mb sorcs but the main reason I can ever live through the duel vs these is because whenever I do hit them it ALWAYS gets the rabies off O_o

I was told a long ass time ago that rabies is unblockable from a pretty known guy on west so I've never really questioned it

I'm pretty sure the Aura is unblockable but it still requires AR to hit.

If it goes through the defense check the aura ignores the block.

It's the exact same as the phase blade happy.gif use 4 shaels and 2 15ias/mod jewels and focus on res for second mod
