Im 99% sure %DR doesnt effect how often you get get but reduces the damage you take when you are hit.

Either I'm misinformed or you have a funny way of saying it, twice!

50% DR

is different than

20DR.

one reduces damage you take by 50% other lowers it before all other reductions by a static 20.

Its melee. Sometimes you stomp people other times you cant get a hit exact same builds.

And if your curious I'm pretty sure what I said was right. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes.

let me explain it in simple terms.


100 damage is coming at you, it pased the hit roll.


1. 50% DR - 50 damage hits you
2. 25% DR - 75 Damage hits you
3. 20DR - 80 damage hits you
4. 50% 20DR - 40 damage hits you.

and 46% dr is like huh.. idk lol.

Formula goes like this for damage:


(X - Y) / Z

X = Damage
Y = DR
Z = DR% (broken down to decimal of a fraction)

Filling in the gaps.

Bad math is bad re doing the equation LOL
