GMB
43 dmg/arrow * 3.1 arrow/second = 129 dmg/sec

Diamond
36.5 dmg/arrow * 3.5 arrow/second = 127 dmg/sec

Pretty simple math really

its not so simple

its (43*(on weapon ed)+added dmg)*(off weapon ed)*(25/8)

if you got enough added dmg (+max/min from items/charms or +dmg from wts) diamond will be doing more dmg over time

yah but we have to consider other factors in the duel, for example its much easier to obtain a ga stun lock when you're shooting at 7fpa, and the difference in damage is so minimal that one might prefer shooting faster

i think its a matter of preference truthfully

true, but a bow with more damage per hit will cause more FHR to be triggered in the enemy when compared to a bow of lower damage

so it comes down to preference. More shots with lower dmg, or less shots with higher dmg

You would need to have a build with A LOT of + to max/min damage charms and items and a very small amount of % ed items for this to be true.

An example of this would be a zon that uses a 160/60 or a engima rather than a fort.

Are you sure that formula is right? I tried it and my damage per arrow doesn't match that of what i have in game

also i just read that critical strike always does double the max damage on a bow, so i didnt factor that in consideration

if thats true, then a ward might be preferable over a diamond, and maybe a faith gmb @ 8fpa vs 7fpa on the others is best after all :)

So then I'd be correct to say Diamond Faith is superior for any Tele-Bowa build?

can valk/decoy be useful in duels?

Depends on the duel. Valk + Decoy are good for eating homing missiles and auto targetting skills like ctrl + ground foh, guided arrow etc etc. Cast them between yourself and the red x on the minimap and guided arrows will start tracking your valk whilst you shoot past it.

If you don't teleport, valk walks around too much to be useful in a fight. Its a pin cushion basically.

On a tele glass zon, i would definately use gmb. Infact on any kind of glass zon, gmb is the way to go. Personally I find that shadow has given me the best results with this build.

-Duels will be ft5 in blood moor (Proper duels are hosted in nightmare, up to your discretion)
-Game must be cleared before duel starts (no leeching from monsters)
-Buying extra arrows is allowed, hiding them in Cold Plains is not
-Cs zons are banned
-No mods or hacks of any kind (maphack,aa,gmod, nightlight, etc.)
-No multi abuse (~1.10 3-volley multi rule)
-No poison charms / gear!
-No healing potions, or shrines
-No mercs
-No non-class skills
-No skill charges
-No chance to cast items (excluding fort) ie: ctc hydra amulets
-No battle orders (cta) including holding it in your cube.
-No prebuffing chilling armor - no demon limb even if in inventory
-Slow missile and Nos coil are allowed if both agreed upon
-Jab, Lightning Bolt and Fury are allowed
-Phoenix shields are allowed if you really want to deal with the proc
-Max life replenish with gear allowed is +22 replenish
-Mana pool + Arrow Pool in front of town / middle of map is allowed.

Hmm, dont think i would be able to participate in that. My zon would break 4/19 rules :-/

thanks for the info tho
