I don't really like the ias bp you've chose. You didn't count the speed a glass cannon have, which will increase the damage.

you can use a diamond bow faith if you feel 7fps is a must, but the damage GMB produces per second at 8 frames is still greater than diamond at 7 frames

gmb -- 14 To 72 (43 Avg)

Diamond -- 33 to 40 (36.5 Avg)

i would say diamond hits a nice middle spot here vs the gmb which varies wildly, and on top of that your hitting the 7fpa with diamond. i still fail to see how gmb is better.

About syncing... frw, charge is good and everything... But HOW DO I KNOW I'M SYNCHING???

43 dmg/arrow * 3.1 arrow/second = 129 dmg/sec

Diamond
36.5 dmg/arrow * 3.5 arrow/second = 127 dmg/sec


Pretty simple math really

Your math is messed up. Youll either be at 7fps or 8fps. The arrows per second will be the same.

With THIS build you will be at 8 frames with GMB

By adding 20% ias gloves and replacing GMB with Diamond you will be at 7 frames with diamond

8 frames = 3.1 arrows shot per second

7 frames = 3.5 arrows shot per second

So no...my math is not wrong.

BTW, Diablo II operates at 25 frames per second. You incorrectly stated that you shoot at either 7fps or 8 fps. The amount of frames in a second will never change, only the amount of frames per animation to fire a arrow.

Also, the amount of arrows per second is determined with this information. For example 25 frames per second / 8 frames per attack = 3.1 attacks per second

yah but we have to consider other factors in the duel, for example its much easier to obtain a ga stun lock when you're shooting at 7fpa, and the difference in damage is so minimal that one might prefer shooting faster

i think its a matter of preference truthfully
