his logic, comparing the poison aspects, is terrible.
however theres a point he didn't quite make, that he works towards, which actually says why a 175/20 could be > 451 poison sc.
While the 451 is clearly better in every way for the poison aspect (more dot, less need to reapply, longer duration), its the fact that if he is hitting his opponents at least once every 6 seconds, then the bonus from the charm is rather negligible, since while the bit rate on a 451 charm is better, its not THAT much better, to merit the difference of 20 life.

So theres a good argument there, he just didnt make it. And I totally just devil's advocated against myself >.<

dont 6s poison charms last 12s @ hell?
assuming your opponent doesnt use psn lenght reduced-stuff
I'd probably rather take 20life over longer psn with not that much higher damage/sec

It does. use a vlow dmg bow [so as not to skew the psn dmg taken by much] and equip 37x 451's. Hit opponent/friend a couple times til you recognize a trend in dmg and avg the total.

Now put on trangs and do the same. Damage will vary noticeably between trangs and no trangs, by about a 25% increase.

This is on b.net, I don't know how psn responds on d2pk.

I've had full sets of 451's and 175/20's. Sometimes actually implementing the gear shows the difference better. 175/20 > the 451, hands down, no argument.

No. +% elemental damage applies only when:
1) Casting spells
2) Melee attacking

yea but 451 lasts 24 seconds -.-
which prevents ~48 HP regen from hoto alone. And when ur opponent is stuck at 1 hp due to openwounds/psn, theres a million things that can kill them that couldn't at 10+ hp;
attacker takes damage
quill rats
fallen with holy shock aura
other players auras
your own bo spears being thrown (^___^)

I can assure you it does, as death's wand also lends itself to the damage, when used on switch.

This is a character screen bug, due to the a lack of distinguishing between melee and ranged weapons.

Perhaps you're not reading, because the 'screen bug' everyone is talking about transfers to damage against opponent's life. I'm not theory crafting, I've tested it.
