I'm still thinking a hybrid of;
+2 druid / +3 grizzly / +3 fissure / (+3 how, +3 volcano or +3 geddon?) pelt with 2x facets, 9x summoning skillers, cta in stash, 50/50 on swap
then a mix of either 19 how / 1 geddon, 10/10, or 1/19- or maybe 20 how with geddon pelt and either 4 boulder or 1 shockwave
the idea either way being to trade physical volcano damage for grizzly damage and rely more on facet swap for fissure
I could retool my escnl shaman into that (albeit level 92) with nothing but a pelt & charms change
I feel like trying to get volcano up to the 1/16 FHR threshold is going to be impossible on non-facet side against most non-glass opponents, even some non-DR builds will exceed it with max boulder, so I could just drop the volcano damage down to minimal, using it just for the blocking interrupt or breaking enemy resist with its fire damage up from geddon synergy on facet side which will FHR people. Thus allowing perhaps higher grizzly, fissure and volcano damage from between the two sides. Even a lower damage fissure will hit much, much harder against most people when using facet swaps. It would however be weaker to stacked resist players and would miss out on the FHR threshold for volcano against lower life non-DR casters. I do love locking and killing glass (trash) sorcs in 1 cast.
The 19 how / 1 geddon +3 how pelt setup hits 13.2k grizzly, 5.5k facet fissure (4.5k hoto), 4.9k facet geddon (3.4k hoto) and 1.3k fire+0.2k phys facet volcano (1.1k fire+0.3k phys hoto)
the 1 how / 19 geddon +3 volcano pelt setup hits 11.3k grizzly, 5.5k fissure (4.5k hoto), 11.9k facet geddon (8.2k hoto) and 2.4k fire+0.3k phys facet volcano (2.0k fire+0.3k phys hoto)
the other permutations are somewhere inbetween (10/10, or 19/1 with geddon pelt and skill sw or boulder).
geddon while teleporting around is pretty eh, unreliable. Sometimes you land hits if someone is chasing you during teleports, but its not like when a druid is syncing around with someone namelock charging him. And I'd feel pretty unlikely to connect geddon hits while on facet side, its more likely to be a random connection during teleports with hoto out (and only half the time would it be out if wsging around). If that 19 points in geddon is only hitting for ~400 hp on the hoto side connection its probably not worth losing 16% of bear damage. But it can hit for as much as 1700 against a 75 unstacked resist char if facet side is out. And that 2.7k volcano on facet side could actually stunlock some reasonable builds- against unstacked 50 dr / 75 resist it would be ~367 hp = 5900 hp for 37.5% fhr threshhold, 2900 for 75%. If someone is skimping their fire stack it would absolutely buttfuck them, and even a slow ass 40% fcr teleport followup without swapping could finish them with a grizzly strike when they're getting blown out like that. OTOH, if they are fire stacking, ~127 hp won't fhr anyone.
while that colossal 13200 grizzly monster cock is tempting, I think having the option to swap to facets and namelock a volcano to 'hurr durr ur dead' anyone who isn't stacking would be great.
still begs the question of whether its worth going back down to 5/4 or 4/5 charms and pimping that volcano out even more, which would lower grizzly back to ~9k.
