Throwing is not a primary attack. Its a weapon of opportunity.

Don't throw at a paladin when hes trying to mow you down. Whirlwind that. But when he plays defensive, shift smiting or camping in hammers- force him out with throwing axes.
When a wind druid tries to stomp you, whirl around. When a wind druid tries to play defensive and spam nados at a range- throw axes to proc amp off his minions
When an enemy BvC tries to long whirl towards you, teleport a few feet back and throw axes straight in a line- crush him in 1 hit with AMP/WW.
The same tactics apply to every matchup, really. Its a tool vs defensive players and potshots

The difference to widowmaker is that widowmaker does almost no damage and makes you extremely vulnerable (long animation, easily identifiable weapon, easily identifiable arrow animations, no ability to whirlwind away)
Whereas you can throw without your opponent realizing it, and the throwing can deal terrible, terrible damage- 1 proc of AMP and anyone will die in 1 whirlwind

About Widowmaker:
Widowmaker is a nifty bow and is not usually utilized on a BvC due to their lack of a need for dexterity. With a Brawler, however, you will have some dexterity and to overlook Widowmaker would be a mistake. What Widowmaker does is takes up two weapon slots and offers you the ability to cast Guided Arrow. Now, by itself that doesn’t seem like something great, but in combo with Lacerators you can proc Amp Damage from screens away.

By using a Widowmaker and a Grief/ Lacerator switch (Lacerator is needed for Amp Damage and Grief does better WW damage than Beast or another Lacerator) you can shoot 1-3 GA’s, switch to Grief/ Lacerator, wait for Amp to proc, then telestomp and destroy your opponent. This is the same idea that bowamazons use when they shoot GA and have a CTC switch, allowing their opponent to have a curse modifier without having to get near the opponent.
regarding this tactic, i have tried but it doesn't work, mind clarifying company?

Try this, you could have had it in the wrong weapon slot.

Well for TvTs where a necromancer is involved (2v2 through 4v4) you can switch out Lacerators for Hoto/ Cta (for higher BO) or Widowmaker (for GA). I'd suggest using the Hoto/ Cta combination as necromancers only have ranged attacks so the need for GA will be outweighed by Leap and WW.

Otherwise if you are not allied with any necromancers you'll have to use Lacerators.
