HOW dies a lot too, you also recast it. If I were facing a hard opponent, Id rather have my Sage on and recast as necessary.

The only elemental build that is useful is ele druid, but 'ele' there is misleading as its a hefty 6k to 7k unbloackeable physical spammable damage :)

What use is sage when its almost never alive when you _take_ a hit? There are very, very few situations where you take a hit before it does.

On the other hand, HOW add's the bonus when grizzly strikes. Usually you or sage aren't getting hit when grizzly strikes (or at least shouldnt) so it gives the bonus

So nothing versus damage, which would you take?

ps. Nado is blockable

Im probably just wasting my time here though, doubt you will comphrehend it

HOW is a spirit too. It will also die. If Oak dies you just recast. It's not that hard, do you suck so hard? Or are you that lazy to plan out good hotkeys?

Survivability over 'damage' is what I pick.

As for Nado being blockable, I have seen so many topics on the matter and so far nearly everyone's response seems to indicate it isnt. Although I just found this:

Tornado deals 2 different damages.
1/3 of it can be blocked and has a NHD of 25 Frames.
2/3 is something like an area-damage (NHD 15) which is unblockable.

In 95% of cases, oak sage will have absolutely no effect, besides being a minion stack. Take this situation:

You get hit by a fireball:
First your oak sage dies, since it is on top of you. Then you lose the +%HP buff from it, then you get hit, and take exactly as much damage as you would have if you didn't have oak in the first place. What did oak accomplish? Absolutely nothing. It literally added nothing. The fact of the matter is, recasting will not do a thing; the oak will never matter up until you get hit, and then it will die first making it do nothing, so it never matters at all. Recasting does nothing.

Now take this one:
You get hit by hammers:
First hammer hits your oak sage, and it dies, but you don't get hit. Second hammer hits you, deals full damage. But guess what? HoW would have done exactly the same thing

I don't get why this is so hard for you to understand even after tudey spelled it out for you.

(4) We need videos of more than just a crappy bone necro duel if we are to believe this is 'one of the best and most versatile PvP builds' Lol
That Necro doesnt know how to use Bone Spirits, he just spams Bone Spear to wherever you are on the map, very crappy necro.

That was either 3 or 4 different necros, not one. And they were some of the best on east at the time the video was taken.
Only an idiot (like you) would try to kill a shaman with bone spirits in necro vs shaman duels. The minion stack, lack of need to stay on your screen, constant teleporting, etc, makes bone spirits about as effective against a shaman as they are against a blizz sorc. The only way you will ever land one, ever, is through IBS spam and praying. Instead, a bone necro is just going to be using spear/teeth throughout the duel; teeth on the defensive, bone spear all the other times. The necros I was dueling were good enough to know that. Take for example, the scene where one necro namelocks me with spear and holds it down. He knew I was about to telestomp him and was doing it in hopes I'd be foolish enough to tele close, and knew not to chain it because I had dragged him through fissures before as he did exactly that (watch the video; I'm casting fissures on my feet while I'm namelocked, waiting for him to stomp). He knew perfectly well that as long as he held down that namelock, I had to retreat offmap and come back or be unable to engage him.

Sounds nice, but you brag too much about how you have no disadvantages.
If your shaman was up against pretty much any decent melee class such as smiters, ww barbs, uber kicksins or even auradins, it will get owned.
Even trap sins, sorcs and necros would most likely win against it and if it didn't have at least 10 summoned units, then so would a hammerdin.

WW barbs can be an even fight, sometimes uphill, sometimes very hard or nigh impossible (sorbing bva).
But smiters, uber kicksins, auradins? You'd have to try to lose, against them.

If you want to see what duels against sorcs/necros are like, take a look at the video. Hammerdins are extremely easy to beat, but in a pubby situation they will never die (akara/well/juvs every time they get low), since its not a character that will 1-hit them. When I said I have no disadvantages, I mean that. And I mean that, as in that there are very very few "impossiblel" battles based purely on character class. For example, a fury druid will not beat a bowazon. A charger will not beat a bone necro. A wind druid won't beat a trapper. But a shaman, unlike that, doesn't have *any* matchups like that. There are many matchups that are difficult, many that are uphill, but none that you can't win simply by outplaying your opponent. A good shaman will beat a mediocre necro, a good necro will beat a mediocre shaman, but a good shaman vs good necro will be up to who is better. The same holds true for those classes like sorcs, ww barbs, trappers, etc (it does not hold true for smiters/kickers/auradins/etc, who have no chance against a competent shaman).

So the point isn't that you're going to wtfbbq every single build, its that theres no build that wtfbbqs you, and therefore you can do equally well against everyone.

wow, we have a retard here

HOW DOES NOT DIE WHILE GRIZZLY IS DOING DAMAGE (AT LEAST USUALLY) SO YOU GET THE DAMAGEBONUS

95% OF THE TIME OAK DIES WHEN OR BEFORE _YOU_ TAKE DAMAGE, SO IT IS USELESS. IT ONLY GIVES GRIZZLY MORE LIFE, SINCE GRIZZLY CAN GET HIT BEFORE OAK GETS HIT AND DIES

I capsed it, maybe you can comphrehend it better now?
