Nice guide.

I'd like to add a few observations from my wolf barb. I've encountered a few bugs on v1.12 relating to how much life you get after BO and wolf transformation. I get more life from a pair of Angelic rings + Angelic amulet than with BK ring + Angelic ring + Angelic amulet. Ultimately I'm using a crafted blood run with life, strength and other good ring mods.

Always use HOTOs to BO and transform. The +3 to all skills boosts lycanthropy which further increases your life. Plain ole BO sticks only affect BO. I've personally hit 7214 life with my wolf barb with usable gear. Those looking to for just raw life can get a far higher figure.

A good source of cannot be frozen is from Trang-oul's belt. With the above mentioned bug, I get more life from Trang-oul's belt than I do from a Verdungo with 38 vitality. I also use a Grief PB and to boost the Venom damage I wear Trang-oul's glove. That's an extra 56% of fast poison damage for venom.

Using Trang-oul's glove and belt also grants a barb access to the fire ball skill. With two HOTOs and an anni that's a level 25 fire ball with a 100 fcr, just shy of the 8 frame break point. The damage is pitiful but it does provide a motivation for players to get close to you. Using Trang-oul's belt over Verdungos loses upto 15% damage reduction but allows for a ber rune to be socketed into the wolfhowl helm to partially make up for it.

Only use a Phoenix shield in PvM. It provides a good damage boost against monsters and provides health via the aura after each kill. The chance to cast firestorm actually slows your overall attack speed down as you can't use the druid's fury skill due to casting delays. Considering the delays with firestrom, moving to an EBOTD CB improves your PvM kill speed by a damage increase even though you attack slower. Grief and storm shield are best for PvP without question.

Enigma can be argued for an armor choice. You get 45% frw while in wolf form and teleport when you're not. The +2 to all skills boost BO and lyncanthropy for more life alongside the 5% from the jah rune. The 8% damage reduction allows your wolf barb to hit the 50% cap if there is a ber rune in the wolfhowl and using storm shield. The stength boost form enigma increases your damage but not as much as fort.

Thanks for the nice comments, I'll just put in a rough guide to other wolfbarb builds as a few people have asked.

Pure PvP Builds:

Melee

Skills:
Iron Skin : 20
Shout : 20
Battle Order : 20
Mastery (depending on what weapon you are using): 20

Stats:
Enough dexterity for maxblock
Enough strength to wear gear
Rest in vita

Items:
Cham'd wolfhowl (or 40 ed / dex jewel if using raven)
Ap fort
Verdungos
Shael'd stormshield
Gris caddy (grief pb is better but usually considered bm in melee dueling)
Angelic rings (or duel ravens)
Angelic amulet (or highlords/metalgrid)
Gores
Crafted crushing blow gloves (off hand ias does not effect your weapon speed so you don't need them with 20 ias)
Weapon switch: dual hoto

Torch
Anni
3/20/20s

Vs All (option 1)

Skills:
Whirlwind: 20
Shout : 20
Battle Order : 20
Mastery (depending on what weapon you are using): 20
Increase speed : 5-10
Natural resist : 10+
Rest of the points in iron skin

Stats:
Enough dexterity to wear gear (or for maxblock, your choice)
Enough strength to wear gear
Rest in vita

Items:
Wolfhowl (your choice on jewel)
Grief pb
Enigma
Highlords or cats eye
Verdungos
Dual ravens
Um'd stormshield (or jewel of your choice)
Gores or nice tri res boots (fit charms appropriately if the boots have fhr)
Bloodfists
Switch weapons: dual hotos

Torch
Anni
7x fhr small charms (these can have max/ar/fhr or resists).
Max/ar/life charms (if you can’t afford just plain life charms will suffice).
Frw small charms (these can have resists or max/ar/frw) – remember that you can tele and ww however you will want good frw in wolf form, choose accordingly
1x fhr grand charm (this can have resists or max/ar/fhr).

Tips: for some chars sometimes go from wolf form back to normal barbarian and tele on top of them and whirlwind when they are running away etc, try and trick them tongue.gif

Vs All (option 2)

Skills:
Whirlwind: 1
Iron Skin: 20
Shout : 20
Battle Order : 20
Mastery (depending on what weapon you are using): 20
Increase speed : 5-10
Natural resist : 10+

Stats:
Enough strength to wear gear
Enough dexterity to wear gear
All left into vita

Items:
Wolfhowl (whatever jewel/rune you want)
Eth Tomb Reaver
Dual ravens
Highlords or cats eye
Fort or enigma
Bloodfists
Gores or nice tri res boots (fit charms appropriately if the boots have fhr)
Weapon switch: dual hotos

Torch
Anni
7x fhr small charms (these can have max/ar/fhr or resists).
Max/ar/life charms (if you can’t afford just plain life charms will suffice).
Frw small charms (these can have resists or max/ar/frw) – chose as many as you think you will need to compete with characters that can teleport tongue.gif
1x fhr grand charm (this can have resists or max/ar/fhr).

On this last build you have to make the choice between frw and damage yourself (fort vs enigma, highlords vs cats eye etc).

Nice guide, but imo id rather have the main atk on right click and hold that down in pvm to run, so that wen u come into atacking range of a monster it auto atacks till its dead.

You know that Werebarb have another Fhr than normals barb ? I'm not sure about your breakpoint.
Why don't you use Wizzy omg ? Grief + Wizzy = same frames that Grief + Storm.

Can't you use Eni + Blood craft belt + Storm ber ?
icon_pointr.gif Fhr + More life (something like 1 or 2k more ^^) + Ow (usefull vs sorc)...

Can you pm me your answers please ? wink.gif
