Regarding the Merc question, Infinity on him is not really needed since that is your main weapon, so yes, an Insight is the best way to go.
I used a Holy Freeze Merc with mine because I just like the slowing.

And on switch I used a CTA.
A CTA with 6 to Battle Orders is obviously what we're aiming for, but the ultimate would be a CTA 6 in an ES Staff, I actually didnt think of that.



Resistances only works on life, which is 5% (95% ES), so no, resistances are not very important.
Poison could be really useful though sinc that will drain your life instantly.

after, skill thunderstorm?? more skills more speed between inpacts and more dmg leave lightning and fill up warmth why the hell you want to do 8k li dmg if you can out tank m all and nova the living shit outta them.


with more thunderstorm the duells with casters will be so much easier , druids forget to recover thier shield cauz thunderstorm never ever dmg m normal.. necromancers are dead by just three hits.. it will save much efford on bowazons just tele around so the arrows cant hit you, he will die anyway

and the griffon's im assuming that you socket that with a facet
