if u want a challenge out of the ordinary play Hell unleashed ( its a mod to d2, google it)

items in HU is much better and cooler but tps doesnt exists and monsters are extremely hard. ( u complete baal normal arround lvl 60)

I've played mods like the one you describe, and found that they lost their novelty value pretty quickly. And it's not impossible... it'll be damn hard but not impossible

I've read a guide describing how a guy completed the game with a naked HC amazon on single player, much is possible in this game

ok you are obviously retarded if u think a naked amazon can fist its way throught the game............. all pnts in str? maybe 10 max dmg with a high crit strike for 20 max dmg. In normal a1 u would have like 4 max dmg(crit 8), maybe 70 life and u will kill andy LOL
she has 1024 hit points normal. and even if u manage her gl beating her in hell with 60000 hit points 40% block and 66% dmg resist.

Salvation & Resist -x- specific element beg to differ

This guide has been changed quite a bit tbh, it's still the old version on the 1st page. We used to do this ironman with following rules applied;

No townportals
Each area may only be cleared once
We only talk to NPC's if it's quest related

As for the fire immunes, we got level 21 conviction.
As for the -X resist in hell mode: we got salvation paladin + hybrid paladin who has all three single res aura's maxed. So yes, We'll have 95all res when fighting souls @ hell mode.

This challange is one of the hardest challanges in Diablo 2, if not THE hardest. And it is possible to complete, allthough you'll need a dedicated team for it. Which is so hard to find.

and even with lvl 21 conviction I doubt the 1K enchant dmg would be much good.

Also enchant gives only 191% AR at lvl20 so u need a paladin with blessed aim also to hit anything? specially baal with high defence.
