Yeh. I can say from personal experience I dropped from 295 pounds to 215 and thats gaining prolly 35-40 pounds of muscle. It took me over a year of strict dieting and working out but TBH it is probably the best life decision I have ever made. I just feel better,more active,and get more girls.
The biggest thing I noticed was when I first started the only thing I did was cut all snack foods/pop/ and drank 100% ice water or sparkling water. And I dropped 15 pounds in just over a month. Pop is the worst thing for you.

It's just so much cheaper to mass produce stuff which is why perdue and all the big companies do all the crap the their meat and make huge profits. It's much more expensive to have free range and not use any growth hormones so it's less product that's coming more and more in demand so raise in prices.
Which is why so many people are so unmotivated to eat healthier, especially in this economy
