cold sorc freezes me yes..druids hurri freezes but generally i tele smite get a few smites on them before i even get froze and they tele away so actually no i don't get froze by them.
melee's get trashed by a smiter so frozen or not they screwed
amazons will barely hit me..i have max block and ill be desynching around...shit even if they do hit me i have max block + 5k life and max dmg reduced so how many arrows is it gonna take to even hit me then kill me? lulz

oh and you get more life with 2x bks
+ like azn said you can switch out sorb rings etc it's useful

the only time raven is needed is vs druid or cold sorc

reason #2 why its better is because if you build around 2x bk rings, you can swap to 2 diff sorb rings w/o losing your max block... you cant do that if you use raven + bk



conviction is -105% with grief out and -125% with foh cta out

honestly though, -105% isnt that much of a diff than -150% because if they're going to stack 105% completely its not much harder for them to stack -150%.... so might as well get better actual damage
