you wouldn't (assuming you aren't super duper gozu, which seems unlikely)

edc is worse yep but you can still kill people with it, winning or losing duels with barb is mainly about can you hit people or not, and if you can you'll probably kill them with edc too at least usually (depends somewhat on matchup though)

Well, I've definitely played many duels where one more hit would have won it for me. And EDC is only about 66% as good as Grief so it isn't a small loss. I'd say I'm most skilled with bvc out of all chars, but I haven't seen all that much of him so who knows.

For example compare nec skill vs baba skill. Baba seems like trash pub almost cause nec is pretty flawless. And he made even WW lock a few times.
