Hi, going to be a nuisance again, I have a question about EHL or club weapons hitting a wolf form druid.. so I'll go ahead and ask if you know the answers :P

As we know these are the wolf breakpoints

Druid (Wolf)
FHR Frames
0% 7
9% 6
20% 5
42% 4
86% 3
280% 2

But when a wolf gets hit by a club.. the frames become longer ( and thus slower in reaction) and you remedy this by increasing the fhr bp to 86 or something, like for weapons such as EHL.... Or am I getting this wrong and the average damage or something is just causing you to fhr more often.... I was even thinking it switches to a different table:

Druid *) hit by a 1-handed weapon or 2-handed sword held in one hand
FHR Frames
0% 14
3% 13
7% 12
13% 11
19% 10
29% 9
42% 8
63% 7
99% 6
174% 5
456% 4

I don't think that can be right though because those are the human frames

Lol I'm terribly confused

E: anyways I have a 86 fhr setup now so it's whatever regardless

Ah you are comparing the FHR breakpoints of a wolf to a human form. They are different. So just ignore that human form breakpoint table.

On the top table, the relevant FHR breakpoints to know are 20, 42, and 86.

The issue is the tight average damage range of mace class weapons in general. The more life you have, the less chance you're going to be put into FHR:

If an attack takes less than 1/16 (.0625) of total life base = 0% chance to cause Faster Hit Recovery
If an attack takes 1/16 or more (.0625+) of total life base = 37.5% chance to cause Faster Hit Recovery
If an attack takes 1/8 or more (.125+) of total life base = 75% chance to cause Faster Hit Recovery
If an attack takes 1/4 or more (.25+) of total life base= 100% chance to cause Faster Hit Recovery

So if you have 10,000 base life, they need to do at least 7350 (*.5*.17=625) damage to make you go into FHR. So if they have 3675 minimum damage and a healthy amount of deadly strike they pretty much are always going to have a chance to FHR you.

BUT at some point it's actually better to focus on attack rating than anything else against maces. That's because the zealer isn't going to hit you if it is considered in a block action frame (and zeal looks like it is swinging at you even when it really isn't because the animation is uninterruptable, even though the skill itself can be interrupted). Those maces tend to have great minimum damage and lower maximum damage, so you don't need to worry about them getting too many big hits, you just need to avoid as many of the average hits as possible.
