According to the rift-sin guide, kicks can't even apply deadly strike, so that's out. If the information on titanseal is current, the IAS breakpoints for dragontalon with an equipped phaseblade are at 2, 5, 18 and 46 points, so a 15ias jewel wouldn't be doing anything for you if you're also using highlord's. What about andy's is bad against lilith? It gives 70 poison resist and increases max poison resist by 10, if anything I would say it IS the best choice against lilith. I'm using a rare ar/ml/lr/fr ring so the -30 fire resist on andy's is a non issue, with it providing 20 ias and 2 skills it seems like a really solid option to me.

My bad man. I didn't think it through but i meant to say against diablo and his minions. I usually get pretty bad luck with life tap proc on him so i make sure to have as much fire res as possible. As for the ias breakpoint, unless they changed, 34ias brings your to 3 frame kicks with a phase blade. Their are 2 ias breakpoint that brings you to 3 frame and i guess 46 is the one just after. As for deadly strike, I believe it does apply. (Could be wrong put i'm pretty sure).

My assassin is wearing rare circlet (2 sin visionary str ml res@), mara's, last wish pb, coh, sanctuary, 3martial/20ias gloves, ravenfrost, tgod's, attack rating/res@ ring, and upped gore riders. I've been ubering with absolutely no problems until recently when I fight baal I'll get him down to an immeasurably small amount of life and he'll magically jump back up to a quarter or more in a fraction of a second. I don't understand how this is possible? I have open wounds on gore, lvl 27 venom, and prevent monster heal on last wish. Is there something going wrong with ubers or am I overlooking something?

Well first off, prevent monster heal doesn't work on ubers. I believe your problem comes from kick range bug. Basically, it shows you attacking/kicking but the kicks don't reach. Simple solution is to Dragon Flight on whoever you think you're not hitting (Baal in this case) and restart kicking after.

The other thing could be that you're missing too many of your hits. CB does one hell of a job even when you miss alot but once the Uber is low on hp, CB barely does anything and your kick dmg (screen dmg) comes in. If you're missing too much at that point, it will be hard to kill. Usually a inventory of MA gcs fixes that

Hello, I'd like to share my kicksin build with you guys.

I have to admit that kicksin build guide by HOFX inspired me and I built her not long before seeing your guide.

I haven't played d2 lod for a few months, some details maybe missing.

Let's start from her gear;
Helms: Guillaume's Face w/ 15 ias/either 15 all res or 40 ed I can't recall, sorry, +2 sin, 30 fr/w, visionary, a few other mods I forgot
Armor: ZBug CoH
Gloves: Dracul's Grasp
Boots: Shadow Dancer, Upped Gore Rider
Belt: I used to use TGod like most of you guys, but once I started using crafted OW belt, I fell in love w/ it
Ammy: Mara's, Angelic I have an awesome sin ammy on another sin char, but never got a chance to xfer. it could've saved her a lot of stat pts
Rings: Raven Frost, Angelic, Raven Spiral (really awesome ring!)
Weapons: LW Pb, Fleshripperw/ Ber, Stormlash w/ Ber, CtA, Demon Limb
Shields: Stormshield w/ Um, Spirit

Charms: Anni, sin torch (25% ctc Firestorm,) some MA gcs (mostly lifers, a couple of 12 fhr, and 7 fr/w I think,) various scs.

If my memory serves me right, I didn't put any point in str, about 100 pts or so in dex (about 70% block w/ upped Gore Rider, and max block w/ Shadow Dancer,) and the rest in vit.

I love Assassin class, in fact, it's the only class I ever played.

I'd played some PvM sin builds, and kicksin was one of my favorite sin builds.

She kicked so fast. She reached max all res in Hell at early lvl 80's w/o a torch and 2 Anya's quests. She could solo Uber Tristam (I sucked at it. :P) What more could I ask for, right?

I'd tried Death Sentry on my kicksin. It didn't seem to work very well, especially in Uber Tristam, so I decided not to use it.

At lvl 90, she had 101 skill pts to play around as following;

MA tree; maxed Dragon Talon, some points in Tiger Strike, a point in Dragon Flight, 2 pts in pre requisite skills
Shadow Discipline; maxed Venom, some pts in Shadow Master (preferably at least 17 pts after + skill charms and items,) 7 pts in pre req
Traps; some pts in Blade Shield, 4 pts in pre req

I still don't know much about Blade Shield skill. I knew that Venom and Open Wounds did work on BS, but not so sure if Deadly Strike and Crushing Blow would work on it. If so, it would be a super skill imo.

I'd never used any other weapons in Uber Tristam than Last Wish Phaseblade, but I did use every weapon while farming for organs. I liked Stormlash and Fleshripper a lot more than LW Pb for hunting organs.

I wanna try Fleshripper w/ Ber in Uber Tristam if I ever get to play it again.

I believe most of you guys already knew DS, max/min, +% dmg to demons and undead wouldn't work on kick.

Since I wanna maximize the benefits of the mods on her gear (33% DS from Fleshripper, 15% DS from Guillaume's Face, 15% DS from upped Gore Rider, +200% dmg to demons and +100% dmg to undead from CoH,)
I will be using Fleshripper for Tiger Striker and upped Gore Rider for Dragon Talon. Even though dmg from the weapon isn't much (45-60 to 174-228,) +% dmg, Venom skill, and +% DS should cover it nicely.

With this setup, my kicksin will have ...
95% CB (25+20 from weapon, 35 from helm, and 15 from boots)
95% OW (50 from weapon, 25 from gloves, 10 from belt, and 10 from boots)
63% DS (33 from weapon, 15 from helm, and 15 from boots)

I haven't tried this in Uber Tristam, so I don't know if it's gonna work. I've been thinking about this setup for several days and I knew I wouldn't sleep well if I didn't get to play or at least posted in your guide.

I won't get a chance to play it for a while since my wife hid my cd and I lost my cd key. T_T

If somebody likes my idea and try it, pls share your experience, that will be very appreciated.

It is indeed a good setup, Altough my build was mostly intended for Ladder. On non-ladder, there are so many other ways to build her and she would do just as great as a job, but people don't really need to hear about how a bug item could be better than another.

As for Death Sentry, it is only for torch farming and other pvm if you don't have a spare nigma in your inventory. Lay down a couple of them, kill a monster and the screen is cleared. Since monsters can't explode in tristram, they're no use there.

Now as for tiger strike, forget about it. it doesn't get any close to kicks in damage unless you're using claws. As for blade shield, I meant to look into it to know if it does proc DS and CB, altough only CB affects Ubers. But what scares me is the duration, having to recast it 6-7 times could be a kick that would kill the Uber. I would have to test it (or have someone test it for me).
