for sure ! i got 1 like that, just put some points in frozen orb also, instead of max thunderstorm...
i own all hell, all situation, opened myself hundreds and hundreds baalruns to get lvl97.

the only think i'm not sure to do in pvm is ubers... still looking for an efficient strategy vs them !

Word, I'm in the process of building this. I know yours ia the pure aura, but could you help me with an orb/ aura hybrid? Thinking of keeping the same gear.

Max orb/ lightning mastery/ cold mastery
1 into tele/ prereq
Rest I dunno. And should I go mb or would I be able to get a decent es?

If I understand this build correctly, you will never have mb, they key is using a low str req shield, and thus a shitty one, and you'd need to dump a lot into it for mb.

So your options would be pure vita, or es

I'd personally recommend as low blocking as possible; base dexterity, and limit the amount of +dexterity you get from items as possible (avoid it on ammy, etc)
The reasoning is simple; you will have low % block, maybe 10-11%. Kite shield is ideal since it has the lowest base, with low requirements, and looks *ok*

When you block an attack like an arrow or whirlwind, your casting (teleport) is interrupted for 9 frames (you cast at 8 frames)
However, when you take a hit, since it is merely absorbed by energy shield, you are never thrown into FHR, and so you teleport unhindered.

While it means you lose mana, if you had blocked that hit, you almost certainly would have gotten hit at least 1 more time, whereas with ES, you just teleport after the 1st one, and your ES regenerates due to warmth (or mana pots for you hairy pooters)
So MB is kinda counterproductive.


but the main gripe with throwin in orb as a secondary attack is that you need to stop teleporting to cast orb. I've found that I can barely even check the HP of my opponents in most duels, because getting close enough to namelock them means they can namelock me, whereas simply teleporting around makes me indestructible. With orb secondary, you'll be much much much more fragile

If you're making this for pvm you can easily drop ts and use the dual dreams with light mastery maxed to make yourself a tri elemental sorc. You would be using orb, firewall and the pulse from dreams.

The pulse is going to clear out all loose baddies while firewall + orb will smash the rest. This is purely pvm though, but people say that tri elemental sorcs can't be done. I say people are stupid and narrow minded.

Maxed light mastery
Maxed fire mast
Maxed firewall
Maxed orb
rest in cold mast or ts.

If its godly geared you can just do 1 in cold mast and go straight to ts.

Hmm, darn. I just dont like the idea of someone slapping on a tgods- thus making this character ineffective :( but you do make points.

the fire auras will do inconsequential damage unless they are stacked. Not remotely worth it for standard PvP or PvM.

Believe me, if tgods didn't counter it, its all we'd see in duel games. Its probably the most obnoxious, annoying build there is, making a TG druid look lame. The cool bonus is that it usually complies with 'GM' dueling rules without being 'BM', its just simply ridiculous to duel against. I honestly don't ever die in public games unless I'm intentionally trying to, like melee'ing people with hoto.
