i've actually tried that and its not bad honestly. however when i do that:

1) I'll lose not only lose +1 skill that goes directly into venom and traps, but the an extra point in fade and claw block too (which in the end is a lost of 2 points that could have gone into synergies)
2) Hybrids tend to have poor res and ar, so to counter the bad res i use shide which gives 20 res all (that allows me to free up 20 res from charms) allowing me to use 32020s instead of 20/5s for more AR and Max Damage
3) The life from an ammy like storm hide is godly because combine with BO it gives more life.
4) Im only at 148 str (thats with a str fcr ring) and i'd need to put a shitload into str to use dancers (or else i cant use feral/runic claws).
5) Not only that but if you use highlords you wont have enough str to use spirit shield on swap for bo for even more life or a 4xdol shield for rep if you need it for certain l8z duels. and while that 200+ life may not seem alot, sometimes its all you need to tank that 1 extra hit before you die. And the longer you can survive, the more damage you and dish out in the end.

so basically if you can live for 5x hits of 4k damage (4x5=20k), but if you die in like 4 hits (4.5kx4=18k). in the long run, living more and doing a little less damage at higher AR and stuff is better. (think of it as vita zon vs glass zon). i think gaining all of that in the end > the small boost of 36% deadly strike from highlords

i know the points but i never really compared it. never really calculated how much the damage increase of a HL with good eth claws would look like compared to crafted amulets.

i mean ... ghosts use very similar equipment, just different mods on claws and max fade which means a difference in DR setups (could be a problem since you have to use a circlet with HL) ... but apart from that it's pretty similar.
shide is pretty kicky so on east it's probably better than HL. same goes for really nice mage crafts i guess

yes i agree entirely. for those who do not have access to shide, highlords is the best 2nd choice ammy. i should have listed an option for alternative realms/poor man's option but eh w/e

Nice Very GG Sin , I Wish I Have That

I made my 1st hybrid sin (LOS-QasiKahn) on oct 23rd 2003, the day the 1.10 patch was released. In that time I have built numerous with improvements each time. I thought I had the perfect hybrid because I was easing most every sin i dueled until I met MastaBui. In a ft5 he beat Qasimoto hands down and showed this old dawg a few new tricks. Since then I have started a new hybrid sin along these lines and can aleady see an improvement at lvl 92. He has the best sin build I know of and is by far the best sin dueler I have yet to find. His sins rock, calling them gg is an understatement

yea i did spend a bit on her and there are cheaper options where you can replace some items to fit your budget and still have a pretty good sin, but you know what? if your gonna do it u gotta go all out. otherwise, you have a bunch of half ass chars who arent really good at anything.

sure. replace shide with highlords and replace gclaw with regular claw (suwayyah chaos/runic fools with 3+venom + ls + xxx mod)
