meh I guess its subjective. I like dueling with enigma and other 1.10+ additions, chain namelocks are fun.
Allowing all items of course means anything elemental can be oversorbed, which is why leagues exist and there is a difference between gm and bm dueling.
I dont disagree with having rules for gm duels, I just disagree with the gm rules from your dueling league.

who ww locks? thats like an autoloss, if a barb/wwsin wwlocks someone a good player will be able to tell within a second, then promptly take the wwlocked character for a tour around the moor while killing them with some projectile. If the player messes up and dies to misjudging desync caused by the wwlock, thats their fault. I think that the fact that your league declares wwlock as bm tells that the players in the league are not able to cope with desync and use a wwlock against the player doing it.

This is just silly. How is a trapper supposed to pk a druid without mindblast? while its true the average trapper will destroy the average druid, a top notch druid with 85 light res should be able to defeat a top notch trapper. 163/99 druids can easily tele on trappers nado and tele off before traps attack, if the trapper can not mindblast he can not kill the druid. A good druid player can run out of traps while being mindblasted. wsg gives the advantage to well played druids with 85 res because they can still escape even if they mess up and get locked down.

seems to me like some players cant learn to see through desync.

a good barb player can outwhirl a smiter. It takes a "barbkiller" smiter with 60k+ def/lifetap/clegs/hf flashing to have an advantage, even then a barb player has counters they can use. I dont see why smite would be deemed bm in pally vs barb unless the barbs are complete dumbasses and whirling right through the smiter.

These items are not unbalanced although they may seem so at first glance if you are playing on bnet and not used to high level dueling.

The realm I play on allows any type of capped rare item with perf affix rolls, 400 eth glitch griefs, 450ed weapons, use of wsg and purposefully desyncing, slow%, kb, use of any fhr/fcr bps that the character can reach with their gear, uses of pretty much any tactic when it comes to gameplay.
The game is more balanced than you think. Ive seen characters of every class compete and do well.
The one piece sorb or 85res/no sorb rule, along with no healing/juving, eliminates most problems and class imbalances found in bm "anything goes" dueling.
The rules given by your league.. eh.. imo they just try to hold on to what 09 was, which isnt what 1.10+ dueling is about, at least imho. If you want no tele duels, level 30 dueling is a lot more suited towards that style of play, and a lot more balanced. When I read the euro-pvp rules I feel like its written by players who were unable to find ways to counter the new tactics and character setups, so instead they made these rules trying to bring dueling back to 09, but with the 1.11 patch bastardization. kinda lame. imho.
but whatever floats your boat. If you like dueling in this league continue to do so and have fun, thats what d2 is about - choosing how you want to play it. I just felt like I had to rant on why I disagree with your league's rules.
