Hmmm, I finally got my smiter to 90. Though, i seem to take a lot of damage even with holy shield....I have 58% max block though, Im still looking for a P torch and I still have 55 points left to spend on vit and dex if need be. I have 86% crush and blow...wasnt able to find 20 ias and cnb gloves....

is this build really able to stand up to uber d and baal?

Easily. I would get max block though, before everything.

Just wondering if you could tell me how much Dex you use to achieve max block on your pali?

Or maybe you could post a pic of your Smiter?

He has 116 Base Dexterity -- I sold him, so he's naked

But, that depends on the skill though, a vortex shield has lower base blocking chances.

Maybe this is a newb question, but is there a merc that woudl stay alive long enough to be worthwhile? or is that a waste of effort?
