~Mechanics Behind the build~
This section is the simple mathematical bases of why a Vitality Zon has the ability to be superior to its horrific twin the Dexterity Zon. For right now only Vitality and Dexterity will be considered.
1 pt of vita = 3 life
1 pt of dex = 3 max dmg
Using an arbitrary amount of stats, lets say 400, we can compare the two choices. All factors from gear to skills that affect the two are including in the calculation.
With Dexterity we haveā¦
400 points * (3 max dmg/point) = 1200 max dmg
Since this is only the max, the average damage generated will actually be half
1200/2 = 600
With a 72% chance of critical strike the average dmg
(600*0.28)+(600 *2*0.72) = 1032
Reduce this value by the pvp reductions
1032 / 6 = 172
172 = the average damage gain in pvp from dexterity
This is completely wrong what you write here.
1pt of dex = 1% enhanced damage.
Not a number of max damage as you write here.
So 400 dex will give you 400% ED.
In your calculation here you completely forgot enhanced damage. 1200 pure extra max damage would give you craploads of more damage after you taken incount the 300% ED bonus from fortidute and the 150% ED bonus from guided arrow. If you calculate ED in here you would end up with: 1200*4.5 = 5400 damage...
So if I'm not reading wrong here or you are meaning something else you would need to remake all this math in the guide.
Please explain this for me.
