I can test this out on a physical immune. So not only do I need I need 90IAS on weapon and 85ias on gear, but I also need a lvl 35 Wearwolf?

Is there any combo that does not require such a high level wearwolf?

90ias on weapon + 85 offweapon + lvl30 wolf gives the 5/3/3/3/3 frame.

He's asking about his case with the botd in an archon staff of 60ias which needs lvl35 ww

How about 95 weapon ias with etomb (shael + 1 jewel) and 55 gear ias (gloves, ammy, helm with jewel)?

If you want to help test: I need to know if a BotD Archon Staff (60 IAS Archon Staff or other base 10 speed weapon) with 30 gear IAS and a minimum of 74 Skill IAS (Werewolf level 34) is hitting 4/4/4/4/7 Fury. Normally this hits 5/5/5/5/8 (in Legacy D2). And compare this to: eTomb (Or 90 IAS Cryptic Axe) with 90 IAS and 30 gear IAS and also level 34 Werewolf. This setup should hit 4/4/4/4/6 or 4/4/4/4/5. So it would be attacking faster but the BotD Archon Staff should be vastly outdamaging the eTomb (as it already pull slightly ahead of even a 3 frame eTomb Fury).

I can’t tell the difference in kill speed but I can for sure see that the first frame animation is slower on the Archon Staff, which matches Vertster’s explanation of what you should be seeing visually.

botd archon staff + 30 gear ias + 74 skill ias = 7/4/4/4/4

etomb (90ias) + 30 gear ias + 74 skill ias = 5/4/4/4/4

So the difference in the first frame you see is 2, which should be quite obvious.



still 5/4/4/4/4 frame - you would need 75 off-weapon ias to hit 3frame with lvl 31 ww (74 skill ias), or 70 off-weapon with lvl 35 ww (75 skilll ias)

So to max dps with etomb shael+shael+zod is the way to go? Or can 4 frame attack with ed jewels out dps the 3 frame?

read my posts again, you can get 3frame with ed/ias jewels pretty easily as well

80 gear ias means swapping fortitude to treachery. Can it really be worth it.

70 is very doable: IK gloves + another piece + Highlords + Ias Jewel in Jalal + Nosferatu. You’d lose DS and CB from not using Gore Rider but would you really need that when your fury runs at machine gun speed?

true, fort comes out a bit stronger, but not by much. The added damage on-weapon from the ED jewels is almost enough to offset the ED loss from fort. Treachery has fhr and chance to proc fade though. It feels really cool to smash chaos with a faded wolf. It's as if the wind itself is tearing through the sanctuary.
