It doesn't.
A lot of us have criticized him for not having maxed trap laying speed. He plays at 10FPA.
Although he can easily get it by using a 15/15 in his helm and sacrificing a bit of DR.

i know for a fact that the AR from each claw is calculated independently

perhaps i was wrong about trap laying, but i wasn't wrong about my original statement. war fist + wrist sword does more damage than bui's claws, while hitting the same trap laying speed (10 frames)

edit:
and with my new understanding, it seems that fools war fist + chaos ferals are the best, as they provide better damage output than bui's selection while hitting 9 frames (as opposed to his 10)

Bui uses a Gclaw. That gives more damage than a fools war fist. While using that, bui has to use fury.
Also, not everybody can get a WF fools with enough ED to match a Gclaw (which would be quite a lot).
And that "fact" has been tested already.

This is a guide that is talking about ideal setups, so I don't care if people have a tough time getting a good war fist. War fist + ferals is clearly superior if you can get the ideal items.

Well then why don't I just say that people should get a Gclaw + 300Ed fools 40 IAS eth/self rep runic or feral then?

Xepolite also spread the rumor about GTs having the same damage as RTs.
