I already included all those things :(
I said 50% chance to miss due to defense, 75% chance to miss due to blocking, and anywhere from 50 to 75% chance to miss due to a moving target (offset by skill I'd hope)
And got those numbers as a result

Is it hard to hit a teleporting BvB? Yes. But how about this situation:
c) he whirlwinded towards you, but you teleported way in front of it and threw axes directly into his line

I'm not going to disagree that widow would be better. BvB has a very tough time chasing after a widowmaker baba, especially if they are the elusive POISON BARB, that sexy build that nobody seems to make despite how much it owns. But thats the only duel I'd prefer widow, with a huge margin, and heck, I could put on a widow too, remember. Just keep one in my stash.

But the duel is a lot closer than you make it out to be. Played perfectly, a throw barb WILL beat a BvB. Obviously nobodies going to play perfectly, but yea. Its still in the BvB's favor by a big margin, but its a huge difference from the normal bvc vs bvb duel, which is utterly, utterly hopeless and could not be won by a bvc controlled by apollo himself matched against an autistic 9 year old on a bvb

About that c):
I have included something like that already :)
Code
I could turn my own argument against me here - if the barb namelock-whirls you - you could even use it for you by teleporting 1 screen away and throwing 1-2 axes at him in a straight line, increasing your chances to hit.

If the barb is dumb enough to make long whirls all the time than he deserves to die, no matter what lol

Dont forget 1 more thing - while you will be teleporting around and shooting in his direction (which will be nearly impossible to do all the time without "spaming" if the barbs teleports in zig-zag) - from time to time he will just make a random short whirl on the place where he assume you in nxt moment (which will happen sooner or later - depends on how good the barb can "read" your movement) - the chance that he could land a hit on you in that moment is high. + he will try to tele-ww you - and no barb should fail at it 24/7. 1-2 successful telewhirls will make an end for you (since bvb does not need huge EQ-swap, there will be enough place for enigma in stash anyway and lets say TO gloves, which will provide 20% fcr which should be more than enough)

I completely agree that such barb theoretically has better chance to kill a bvb than a normal dual wielding bvc. It still will remain less than 1% for doublethrow barb if you ask me - since (as the name already says) BvB barbs are made for one purpose - to kill other barbs.

We could continue with this discussion - you trying to convince me that you actually have a real chance to kill a bvb barb with such "hybrid" with all that "if this" and "if that" - and me trying to convince you that its just matter of HUGE luck if you get a chance to kill a bvb with it which will remain less than 1%.

It will end at that "Played perfectly, a throw barb WILL beat a BvB" - perfectly played throw barb will aim 100% in a good way - perfectly played bvb will avoid to be hit by straight flying projectiles in 100%, while still ahving a chance to make a "perfect" tele-ww while blocking 75% of your projectiles.

......and back in reality land, where people play barbarians and not supercomputer overlords that never make mistakes, I have a good fight against most BvB's, and some kill me. I can kill a good chunk of them with just outplaying them, and some outplay me. I think you're not taking into account that neither player is going to be *perfect*, but the throwbarb has an easier time hitting the whirlwind barb than the bvb has hitting the thrower. In a perfect duel, it would be a stalement, but with equally skilled, medium level players, a throwbarb can win eventually, even if its a hard duel for him

A BvC is made for killing casters, but they still have difficulty against max block/dr bone necros with clay golem & lots of fhr/recast/fcr. Isn't that necro a caster? Just because its named a BvC doesn't mean he automatically wins. Sure, a BvC still has a good chance vs a necro, and its not automatically in either classes favor, but hes not going to win just because he was made for killing casters, and a necro is a caster. A BvB is made for killing other barbarians that whirlwind, and that is something they are good at. They are not, however, made for killing other barbarians that use throwing axes or guided arrows. These are things a BvB would rather be a BvC for, for the extra fcr and leap and such.

And before you ask, I do ok against other BvC's, maybe a 50/50 draw. But this is purely because those BvC's tend to have 10000x my value in items (I'm using a 34/341 grief, 0 life from charms, etc). The very fact that I can go even with them is simply due to my amp damage advantage, so to speak. Otherwise, if I went pure BvC against them, I'd watch them rape the pantaloons right off me.

a poison barb is sexier than that, with his 2x um'd deaths webs, 37x 451 poison scs, his widowmaker, and his palace of gold (because who the fuck has 37x 451 charms?)
Did you know that a psn barb can drain a 75% resist, 7000 HP barbarian to 1 hp with a single arrow? (and 20 seconds of patience >.>)

ums vs shaels, its a tough call
if I was rich enough to build one, I'd go um for the extra %OW, since most of the time you're just getting its bonuses from widowmaker switch

I've heard of a poison barb that used:

Um'd Death's Web
Bramble Armor
Coa
Stormshield
Trang's Claw
etc etc

for pure BvB, non-teleporting non-bow whirlwind only duels
+75% poison damage ftw

Sure thing chief! A 451 psn damage sc costs about 600 fg on sc/e/l right now, so thats only 22000 FG in poofable charms :)
