I have finally respeced my barb to a PVP ww, thanks to the fg he earned over the past months that financed his full equip + inventory. This guide is the greatest d2 guide I ever read and made GF barb a generally boring char into an engaging and interactive build.

but at lvl 79 and with this gear, my merc survive 2 secs, makes me wanna delete my char lol

Guide says you'll be better starting at 81. Hit rate is super low prior to that. You're also wearing armor that only works if you Leap spam, since the Merc will explode. Fade is just not consistent enough at Trav unless you Leap to protect.

At 79 try the basic setup in post #2 with GFace and Bonehew. Might help.

Well yeah. Traditional method is fine, just slower. Might be worth looking at Cham'd Gface if you really don't want to use Gavel. Amp Damage is what turns the council into water balloons to pop. 35-50 secs a run.

Hi Exokek. I know i saw this in the comments before somewhere, but can't find it (thread becoming too long :P).
My Amp dmg and enchant key bindings disappear after each run. Is there a fix for this?

Leave the game with your non-Gavel weapons equipped. Should work. On console I'm told it's the opposite but idk

So, back again here for advice.
I'm using Eth ariocs (4 skills 226ed, amn), Eth glad bane (199%, um) and Eth andy (ral).
I'm running since yesterday and wasn't finding much worth any. Now i just found my first ber ever (incl. D2LOD period)!

Want to use the gold to improve my build.
What would you advice? I'm thinking ebotd warpike, like in your build is mentioned with exactly this gear i'm using now.
Maybe later also fortitude, but i also still have to get a fortitude for my frenzy barb when i reskill this gf barb to go leveling with it again (now using Duress).
Also still don't have many good life/at/dmg charms to improve my at and dmg with my mediocre grief. Probably better to focus on that then only on my merc haha.

i would definitely ugprade from glad bane. that's BY FAR the best upgrade from here.
