Step 1: type /ignorepersist and make sure it says "enabled".

Step 2: type /filtermsg *InsertWordHere* .
(each word you add, is permenently added to a filter, which from then on will block the entire line of text from apearing on screen ingame, if anyone uses a word that is designated filtered)

Step 3: type /unfiltermsg *InsertWordHere* to remove a word from your filter list.

OR alternativly you can edit the .txt doc like so,

In your d2 directory, there is a file labeled "ignorelist" This file can be opened with notepad++
and once u open it you will see a list of words you designated to be filtered. All you need to do is delete unwanted words from the list and save/exit.

If anyone cannot figure this out, pm me and ill meet you ingame to further explain how the ingame filter system works.

What do you mean with this?
Isn't the windows built in notepad enough?

I copied/pasted all the list but I still see all spam even tho words spammed are in the .txt file.

The lists arent 100% preventative, they are just a large compiled list of words spam bots used or have used in the past.

If you are still getting spam, even after pasting the lists, then while your ingame as you see the spam, use the /filtermsg command too add words those bots are using, specificly only them.

(i dont recommend using common words)

I tried using notepad and it didn't work, i have heard other say it does, i just use notepad++ cuz its a better program, and its free.
