i really, really wouldnt try and test him on his game mechanics knowledge. i generally dont care for the guy, but his actual knowledge of game mechanics is nearly flawless.

specifically, in diablo 2, attacks are only blockable if they are either melee attacks, or ranged weapon attacks that deal physical damage (and all spells that deal physical damage besides mind blast / psychic hammer)
so if you have a ranged weapon attack that DOESNT deal any physical damage, its not blockable

so lightning fury is blockable because it has physical damage, but lightning bolt is not (100% converted to lightning)
so cold arrow gets 101% damage converted to cold at level 50, and is no longer blockable

i say nearly flawless because in a situation such as this absolute certainty isn't possible. suffice to say i've yet to see him make any mistake aside from occasional dyslexia, which everyone does now and again, or misplacing a decimal point....mmm...yeah...its been spot fucking on correct and true (where fact is concerned...i hate your zon/thrower b.s. in EVERY FUCKING THREAD)

Ausi..WW is also not qualified as "melee" in GM Melee duels....talk to the palapk people for that.
