3. 75% FCR vs. 125% FCR
Marginal differences exist. DPS setup as exemplar:

3.1 Damage
75% FCR = Frame 10 [0.4 seconds cast rate].
Slvl 43 Amplify Damage. Radius = 30 yd.
Slvl 39 Corpse Explosion. Radius = 15.3 yd.

125% FCR = Frame 9 [0.36 seconds cast rate]
Slvl 41 Amplify Damage. Radius = 28.6 yd.
Slvl 38 Corpse Explosion. Radius = 15 yd.

Average mob packs radius difference in random area selection:

Act I
Tamoe Highland- 3.33 yd. / Catacombs Level 3- 4.5 yd.
Average yd. rate- [3.33+4.5]/2 = 3.9 yd.
Act II
Rocky Waste- 6.58 yd. / Arcane Sanctuary- 5.9 yd.
Average yd. rate- [6.58+5.9]/2 = 6.24 yd.

+5% more to Cold/Light/Poison elemental resistances, +40% more Fire elemental resistance.
+5 'Mana After Each Kill'.
+25% maximum mana increment.
A free socket.
Cons:
-Higher FCR(10)/FHR(13) frames.

125% FCR- Spirit monarch, FCR ring.

Pros:
-Lower FCR(9)/FHR(8) frames.
+22 more to Vitality.
+89-112 more to Mana.
Cons:
-Higher Strength requirement.
-Lack of 'Mana After Each Kill'.

Conclusion: Choice remains at player's discretion. Differences are negligible.


kind of a nice guide. but i dont agree with 20 in amps. since its pvm guide. and in pvm baalruns skell is not very welcome.. 1 pt in lower resist is nice. and iif in ut game. i think decre is the best curse.. nn max amp ether.
and i think the 20 pt in amp should be in golem mastery, if you using ig.. if not golem will die fast. and beast golem is not cheap..for most players.

i think its kind of nice that you made with hoto guide and not beast ..and very well arguments for it i must say.. good work.. btw.

AD variable 10-20 at player's discretion.
Decrepify, even at Slvl 99, is 4 yards fixed. You will not be "decreping the screen", and it is -50% DR less effective than AD for overall PvMing. It has a different purpose, however - Bosses.

Having an army of 25+ minions (Revives not counted) usually nulls the idea of maxing bone armor. For avoiding positioning locks, don't revive land units.
Life Steal = Life Tap. From experience, the mercenary's HP was only lowered against several boss type attacks (E.G Diablo 'Hellfire') or when facing fanatic champions at P5-8 game rooms.


Skeleton Mages
At Slvl 39, the Fire/Cold/Light skeletal mages will perform:

Fire= 4261.3 DPS
Cold= 2414.7 DPS
Light= 3664.7 DPS

15 mages overall / 4 types = 3/4/4/4 mages of each type averagely.

Random mob selection for damage analysis:
Cliff Lurker [sandleaper5 / Hell]:
HP: 3501 average. * 4.5 (P8) = 15,754.
LR% = 100% , FR% = 80% , CR% = 0%
Conviction: LR% = 83%, FR% = -5%, CR%= -85%

Fire DPS = 4*4261.3*1.05 = 17,896.2 total DPS per single unit
Cold DPS = 3*2414.7*1.85 = 13,401.585 total DPS per single unit
Light DPS = 4*3664.7*0.17 = 2491.996 total DPS per single unit

1 point AD +23 (Eq. +S) = Slvl 24 = 17.3 yd.
-Refer to the chart in the guide applying average mob pack vicinity rate to calculate loss of radius (Section 3.1)

Exemplar: Act III
Flayer Jungle- 12.2 yd. / Kurast Bazzar- 9.8 yd.
Average yd. rate- [12.2+9.8]/2 = 11 yd.

17.3/11 = 1.5 mob packs afflicted from AD, opposed to 2.72 mob packs.

As far as 'Army DPS' goes, 5% of overall PvM kills do not amount to much.
The difference is marginal, favoring maxed AD.
