the holy freeze on my barb doesnt shatter any of them i can use find item on every 1..

the only problem i found is that the ice bolts from the mercs forti can shatter the council when he kills them.

think the best 3 alternatives for that would be an eth corpsemourn (For the amp damage), ed/ias or max armor or just using wealth on the merc itself.

i also use an offencive nm merc for the best damage, since i made a 400/15 BotD ghostspear last night

ok I made this barb but with ebotd wp on merc....Merc kills ok. I stun and leap on the council and use the wc that lowers defense and damage. Most of the time they go down under 2 minutes in hell. But when council has a combination of conviction/holy freeze/might/fanatism, it's sometimes the other way. most gold so far is 700k +. lowest is 120k. But I'm still only lvl 78. Don't understand y u would want to put 10+ skills in leap tho. I usually fill up with gold in 7-10 runs. around 2.5mil.

Hmmm, very interesting. I have a gold mfer too, but he only makes like 200k per trav.

2 suggestions though, to improve gold finding:

Okay, I'm guessing trav goes somewhat quickly if that's all you're doing. I suggest you should perhaps add the council in durance 3 (be sure to get the two dudes at the sides).
Perhaps you can put wealth on ur merc and wear nigma for yourself instead so you can make that tele. Or just keep nigma in your inv for when you need to get to meph.
