This is a great resource, but I can't help but have a quest. I noticed there is no Range 4 tiles to the NE/NW/SE/SW is range in these directions does range for not improve on range 3? Or is it just as good as range 5? or does this play into the adder/monster size etc. Thanks in advance and that's really weak how you got booted from DII.

Range 4 is as good as range 3 on all the tiles around where range 4 goes to. Remember though that players have a rangeadder of 2, so if you are using a range 4 weapon like etomb for example, then you will be hitting where the range 5 is. In pvp, weapon range is always default at 1 range higher than the weapon range listed on arreat summit.

But, yes, there are some ranges that do not effectively extend your range in most directions as well as others, 2 and 4 specifically.

So, I guess what I'm getting at, is ETomb really worth it range-wise compared to Zerk+shield? I mean if it doesn't trully reach much further, and you can get more res on the shield then on the etomb. idk. :D

etomb is range 5 in pvp, and something like a great poleaxe is 6. So use the raneg 5 squares for reference on etomb, and range 4 for ebotd.

Which one did you PM?

This deserves a sticky for sure.
