Yeah but you're restricted to just 2 diff setups to use it in tap duels. Whereas with grief you could use it with any so it isn't quite as overpowered as grief is.

ya i remember about the time i quit west was having a big discussion on whether or not to ban death. I personally thought it was dumb. People thought it was overpowered but death has its drawbacks just like edc, or ebotdz non tap setups. I thought that zbug forts were a far bigger issue, as during the ZvZ tourney that took place there was a very even distribution of weapons between death/edc/ebotdz/and gg fools. There wasn't a very even distribution of armors. People would stash a prudence away just in case but zforts were just about everyone's starting armor and hardly anyone switched away from em. I quit playing about the time the discussion got going so I'm honestly not really sure how it turned out.

anyways that was random rant of the day. But ya, grief is rediculous. Because at least with death you have to really make sacrifices to hit ias bp's. You have to make no sacrifices with grief. And I'm a westy i guess cuz idc about random little lvl 3 ctc making stuff "bm" imo.

It's LvL 5 and the poison makes Grief Bm tbh, West also doesn't use Exile, but ya Zbug forts should have been auto banned, those are just absurd

meh, i know it might sound like a contradiction but i just dont really give a crap about the poison from grief, whereas i hate tap from exile. I definately have a problem with grief in general tho just because of its general pro'ness. I guess with me, the thing i really like about zvz duels is the different build possibilities, and having different builds which all can be effective. Which is why I'm not a fan of tap, as it really limits builds since obviously exile builds>non exile builds. And there are far more non tap builds than tap builds. And why I dont like the idea of grief. And why I dont like the idea of zbug forts (even tho i did, and do own 1). I enjoyed ZvZ alot on ladder where shaft/valor/prudence/fort were all commonly seen armors. Then when ladder rolled over, the variety was completely gone. Replaced by the c/c zbug fort. It lost its luster for me pretty quickly.

ya, i realize diff armors r used in tap. But only 1 shield

not so in non-tap
