I do disagree.
My zon may only be worth about 600-800 fg, and I beat most everything easily outside ofc of the chars that always give bowa's problems.
It's mostly just a matter of spending your fg wisely, and making up for the areas you lack in. i.e your weapon isn't terribly great, so you make up for it with lots of cb/ow/ds. Your life is a tad low, so you make up for it with plenty of passive skills to boost your dodge/evade/avoid efficiency.
It's mostly, at least imo, just a matter of bulking up on what makes this char so effective, doing what you can with what you got after that point. Rest is just skill then, and know what your doing, how to avoid certain attacks, and what to do vs certain characters to avoid taking heavy damage, and dealing out the right amounts of dmg.
I only hit 2200 ga, cause I use a diamond faith, but what I am missing out on in damage, I make up for with speed. I hit 7fpa so easily I don't need to spend so much on a 120-45, I can use a 20-20 ztorch and a high end anni.
Just gotta pick your battles sometimes ya know.
