Mate, I ran the cookie cutter Cham'd GFace or CoT builds with a pre-1.08 geared Barb for over a year. Give me a break.
They work absolutely fine, they're just not optimal for this one, particular, specific farm.
Wanna run GFace for your all-purpose farm build, or for boss killing? Go ahead.
Bringing GFace once you're past a certain level of gear at Travincal is borderline silly. I even specifically include GFace in the low level Hell farm build, because the DPS/Strength won't be high enough for proper gearing.
You either lose out on resists and you end up having to Leap around like a clown to keep your Merc safe, or you lose out on Life leech. Or both.
GFace is great in pretty much all PvM where the HP pools can be high. At Trav, it's fine at low gear levels.
It's just completely unnecessary past a certain point, and you're best served with more Resists, Life Leech & Jab IAS breakpoints.
Guillames gives life leach as well. Which you are completely failing to ignore. As the more damage you do, the higher amount you leach.
Again, Guillames is one of the largest damage items in the game for pvm.
You are wrong and just don’t want to admit you are wrong.

So exo, do you know if there is a difference between Ed to demon and regular Ed on jewel?
If ED is 30% and ED to demon is 30%, the are exactly the same. Where they become different is in the weapon itself.
As enhanced damage on your weapon multiplies the damage of your weapon, and then all your other ED modifiers multiply the damage of your weapon.
To represent that statement mathematically you are looking at something like this (the numbers below are for easy math purposes):
100 base damage weapon
400% on weapon enhanced damage
1000% Armor / skills / stats enhanced damage
0% demon enhanced damage
=
(100x(1+ decimal value of weapon enhanced damage)) x (1+ decimal value of armor/skill/stats enhanced damage + demon enhanced damage))
Now if we add 30 enhanced damage on weapon, we simply add it to the decimal value of weapon enhanced damage. Which is then multiplied by everything else
But if we take 30% demon enhanced damage, no matter if it’s in weapon or other gear, you add it to the end of the formula.
