This is COMPLETELY incorrect, Grief is affected by all off-weapon ED% modifiers, this has been shown time and time again to be a result of the Lying Character Screen.
Again, where exactly has that been shown time and time again? I asked you for that a while ago already and I'm still waiting.

I get it, but he's wrong. It is EXACTLY the same thing as +400 minimum and +400 maximum damage.
f(x)=x^2/x is not at all the same as g(x)=x
Grief has a few quirks, such as adding to shield damage and not working with Vengeance, but it otherwise works.
where's your proof for that?
so grief exactly the same as +400 minimum and +400 maximum but it adds to shield damage while +max/min doesn't and it doesn't add to vengeance while +max/min does? That means it is not exactly the same.
I did not claim that f(x) is the same as g(x). However f(x)=x^2/x=x would be the same as g(x)=x in everywhere else but at 0, where f(x) has no value. The point was to illustrate that while the two functions look the same they aren't exactly the same. +damage looks like +max/+min but it's not. That is why it works differently.

Yes, I did.
However, his Grief numbers are wrong.
I ask again, if the +400 damage is applied after ED%, why isn't Grief one of the worst weapons in the game? The damage outcomes, after pvp penalty, would never reach over 200. This is solid proof.

Since “Grief” has additive damage that is calculated after PvP penalties, it is unaffected by both Axe Mastery and Whirlwind Damage multipliers.
you quoted this part of a post in one of your earlier posts but you seemed to not really read it too well so I bolded the answer to your question there.
