Then don't make a melee. Just saying don't knock something without actually trying it. I did caster duels for years and gm melee at the same time. Gm melee is a lot more fulfilling than caster leagues/ladders are. Not to mention gm melee is a lot more competitive and you make a lot more fg/cash in gm melee than caster duels if that matters to you. They're both fun but I stuck with gm melee and stopped caster dueling since got bored.
