Didn't read the last few pages since tl:dr but let me explain. The "hard part" of gm melee is when you build your char. You need to stat it perfectly to use multiple different setups at different times and know which setup to use to counter other setups. Making a caster is easy as hell and any monkey can make one and do well. Also i'll vouch that the melee community is much more mature and gm than the caster community.
I agree most of the melee community is more mature. However I completely disagree there.
Infact its the opposite any monkey can make a set up for a zealer, and can easily
See oh I died that time because my defence was too low. Or I didnt have enough ds.
So I need to use highlords instead of angelics. After a few duels any brick can figure that
strategy out.
Yet there is a vaaast difference between a pub soo called a good caster then vs a pro.
A huge difference. Bvc for instance there are maybe like 3-4 people per realm that can
use a bvc like a pro. The other 100-200 are garbage.
Not only do you have to know which gear to choose vs multiple opponents with different
abillities but you actually need skills to kill stuff.
Zealers its just gear and only strategy vs other zeal.........
In my books thats just lame
