Edc is usually more effective but tbh the setup I suggested in here was just the normal gbane build meant as a more affordable yet still viable option. So yes your setup would be superior.

Why should someone be penalized if they want to take a disadvantage?

Edeathz can kill an un-bo'd zealot in two shots easily.

Skip out on ias, get more damage and AR.

You'll prolly kill the other guy in your first swing.

Edeathz was the main reason for the change in requiring ias, as well as west shifting over to allowing BO.

not allowing bo is stupid in general, so saying stuff about un bo'd zealots is dumb and irrelevent

You're not gonna kill the other person in 1 hit, but i could see stacking dmg and ar and skipping out on some ias being overpowered, but tbh it's just the rw that is overpowered

The banning of bo was to pay homage to the original zealots on classic (i.e. no use of non-paladin skills).

And yes, you can kill a zealot w/ edeathz in a single volley if he is not bo'd and you're running a set-up like:

Visio
Zbug fort
rends
edeathz
angelics
Cham'd SS
dungoes
gores

It's about 10k physical damage with obscene amounts of deadly strike, while maintaining 20k AR.

When you have ias requirements, the damage is still 10k, but the AR is much lower (it drops to about 11k~12k).

Bold explains alot of the differences in east and west style, Death would still be really good on east, but seems like it wouldn't be as good as it would be on west considering no exile and zbug fort being available
