Actually, it is you that doesn't know the basics. I just told you them, and you attempted to correct me, then you asked me a question to which I already answered twice.

I asked about Cold Arrow, you gave an answer for Freezing Arrow
the two skills are completely different, and so is the correct answer

is your final answer really going to be that the "splash elemental damage is unblockable", and the "physical is blockable"?
because thats so fucking wrong on like 10 levels (theres no splash part, its either all blockable or all unblockable, I won't tell you which, and its all one attack- theres no 2 parts to it, its just like adding cold damage charms to a normal bowa)

so I've been giving you lots of mercy in chances to correct yourself. is it blockable or unblockable?

when you shoot a cold arrow, it converts some of your physical damage to cold damage, then adds cold damage.
your attack is just the same as if you had attacked with a bow that had that much physical damage (after reduction), and added that much cold damage

the real answer is that cold arrow is blockable if its below level 50, and unblockable if its above level 50
ranged weapon attacks in d2 are only blockable if they deal physical damage- once it converts 100% or more physical damage to elemental, it can't be blocked

but you weren't even smart enough to be able to fall into the trick question trap- you had some retarded idea that the cold portion of the spell is unblockable and the physical is blockable
which is of course just plain wrong- its all dealt as a single attack and is all blockable as a single attack. You can either block it all (level 49 or less), or not block any of it (level 50+)
theres no instance in which you can be hit by only the cold damage but not the physical, that only works for freezing arrow you dumb strumpet

Cold Arrow HAS physical damage ALSO and I'd like to see evidence on that "level 50" information.

You talk about knowing stuff, but you know absolutely nothing to which you speak and you have no facts to back it up. I gave you a source which clearly states that Cold Arrow has physical damage AND cold arrow damage, making part of it blockable.

you miserable cretin, was it that difficult to look up a skill calculator?

cold arrow isn't blockable at level 50+ because it doesn't have physical damage, like I said
at level 50 it converts 101% of your physical damage into cold.
same reason why lightning bolt can't be blocked- it converts 100% physical to lightning, leaving no physical damage



you should just give up now, you got smashed like 5-0 already in this thread. Just look at the wall of shame in my last post
