Vt isnt a light char. Thats like calling a druid a cold char because its secondary attack is cold.
I dont use 31 dr vs a ghost. I use 39 dr with a circlet.

+ druid hurricane dmg is ~2.8k - 3k without -res, v/t is 5k++ and -res. There is a big difference.

Stacking the conviction isnt hard to do at all. The vts foh tickles you. I wear a wisp vs vts and youre basically facing a gimped smiter.
