Not a zerker no

This has nothing to do with Russiabank's build (except if your going the expensive way, with shiver armor).

And, though I believe his guide is very nice, it would be hard say that he invented Shiver sorc.

But Gerke (which is a great shield for different kind of 95%es builds) wouldnt work here.

Having 50% dr is mandatory : it simple doubles your mdr overflow.

Let's compare 15% (SoE + Gerke-Mal) with 50% (SoE + Storm-Mal) :

Overflow 0 :
Gerke cap = 847 dmg
Storm cap = 470 dmg

Overflow 1 :
Gerke cap = 3449 dmg
Storm cap = 4047 dmg

Overflow 2 :
Gerke cap = 6161 dmg
Storm cap = 7811 dmg

Overflow 3 :
Gerke cap = 8874 dmg
Storm cap = 11576 dmg

(cap is the maximum amount of damages you can take without losing 1 hp).

Steel carapace would be funny, but honestly you will be weaker with it. pdr/mdr 14/7 against 20/20 on Gladds !
Gladds is a strong choice. Also remember 220 str req on eth Steel Carap.

A zerker would require a different setup, with a much higher %es.
