no max curses lol. you are not pvp psn. so beter max bone wall or bone prison - synergy to bone armor. merc need good dmg and life leech (from nm jab with Might aura): andy face/gaze+forti+pride, nec use beast. hoto is good but look wand carin shard (give mana and life and its cheap). if you dont like merc from act 2 you can take from act 1 and wear forti+andy face/gaze+faith and you can try use last wish
